Kristiania University College is organized into four academic departments, so-called Schools, with associated departments. Our professional development is wide-ranging, and overall, we are well-positioned to help solve society's different challenges. We aim to become a working life university. To realize this ambition, our college will develop a value-creating collaboration with working life. In addition to this, it will require a comprehensive investment in research and artistic development work - at a high international level.

Practical information

To be eligible for admission as an exchange student, your home institution must have an Erasmus or Bilateral exchange agreement with Kristiania University College. Additionally, Kristiania UC is a member of networks such as Nordpuls, Cirrus, and EcoTek Nord, which offer various exchange options. You can find a list of partner institutions on our website. If you cannot find your institution on the list, please contact international@kristiania.no. Your International Department needs to nominate you through our Nomination Portal.
When considering an exchange semester at Kristiania, it's important to note that not all schools offer courses for exchange students in both the autumn and spring semesters.

The School of Arts, Design, and Media primarily offers courses instructed in English during the autumn semester (August-December).

The School of Health Sciences and the School of Communication, Leadership, and Marketing mostly offer courses instructed in English during the spring semester (early January-June).

The School of Economics, Innovation, and Technology offers courses at both the bachelor's and master's levels instructed in English during both the autumn and spring semesters. You can even apply for a full year's exchange at SEIT.

A complete list of courses offered to exchange students coming semester will be ready in March/September every year.

How to apply for an exchange

Applications should be completed online well before:

15 April for autumn semester (mid-August – mid-December)

15 October for spring semester (January – mid-June)
Admission requirements may include a portfolio. A portfolio is sample of work only for the creative courses, with both links to previous works/YouTube videos, recordings, Spotify links, etc., depending on what course you apply for.

You must submit the following documents to qualify for an exchange semester at Kristiania. Incomplete applications will not be considered for admission:

Short personal statement

Transcript, including current courses

Copy of your passport

Where required, a sample of your work
