Kristiania University College holds the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education and accepts applications from students of all our partner institutions. We accept incoming exchange students in English courses within most departments each autumn semester. Student housing is offered through SiO and through HousingAnywhere.

Scandinavian-language speakers may apply to become an exchange student in all our programmes.

English-language speakers may apply to become an exchange student in the following departments:
- Department of Technology
- Department of Communication and Design. Special conditions apply to our Art Direction and Text and Copywriting programmes.
- Department of Music and Stage
- Department of Film and Media
All applications should include:
- Full CV
- Short personal statement
- Transcript, including current courses
- Where required, a sample of your work
The Faculty of Technology accepts applications for both the fall and spring semester. All other faculties only accept applications for the fall semester.
Fall semester: mid-August until mid-December. Spring semester: Early January to mid-June.
Kristiania University College uses an online nomination and application system for incoming exchange students. Before the student can apply the home institution must officially nominate the student using the Nomination portal. Nominated students are then invited to register an application in the application portal. Instructions on how to use the portals may be found below.
