Tore Teigland

Tore Teigland is a professor of music production at Kristiania University College. He has more than 30 years of experience in music recording from his work with both record production and the film industry. His academic research focuses on topics directly relevant for the recording and/or live music profession, seeking to expand on the current curriculum within these fields. Tore has published papers on topics such as microphone techniques, music mastering practices, psychoacoustics, perception, harmonic distortion, mixing techniques and methods. He is currently working on various projects in areas such as drummers’ performance and interpretation, Dolby Atmos Music, psychoacoustics and microphone applications.
