Background

Graham Mansfield is a Senior Lecturer at Kristiania University College, teaching graphic design and visual communication. Graham has taught in Oslo and his home country of England for over 18 years. He has also worked as a professional graphic designer for over 25 years. His ability to translate complex information into something understandable for everyone is one of his strengths, from visualizing complex information to simple storytelling. His background in conceptual visual communication enriches the design process, resulting in surprising solutions. Graham was one of the founders of the design agency Zoot AS. Zoot's client base included Oslo Emergency Clinic, Cappelen Damm, DnB, Fokus Bank, Radio Norge, and Akershus County Municipality. At Zoot, Graham worked on various design solutions, from visual identities and book design to comprehensive signage systems. Zoot won Norway's 'Statens Design Konkurranse' in 2011 in relation to Oslo Emergency Clinic. Before returning to teaching, Graham was a Senior Designer at NOA Ignite (formerly Making Waves) from 2012 to 2019.
