Background

Lene Pettersen is associate professor in social anthropology at the Department of Communication at Kristiania. She teaches topics related to technology, ethics, strategy, social media, communication, innovation and creative project development.

She is the author of the book "What is strategy?" which was published by Universitetsforlaget 2020, and translated into Swedish and published by Svensk studentlitteratur 2021. In addition, she has co-edited and written book chapters in "Method book for creative subjects" (2017), in "Communication for leaders and organizations" (2018), and in "Social media from the inside out" (2012). She leads an internally funded research project on dating apps (DigiLove).

Pettersen has also published a number of scientific articles in recognized peer-reviewed journals, both nationally and internationally.
