Background
Peter’s passion for environmental issues led him first to Singapore, where he pursued his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies at Yale-NUS College, and later focused on sustainable food systems through several startups and research roles. These experiences inspired him to learn more about regenerative agriculture and ecosystem restoration through his MSc in Agroecology at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. From there, he moved to Portugal, where he explored green real estate opportunities and worked to develop a funding ecosystem for startups in regenerative agriculture, housing, and tourism. After returning to Oslo in 2023, he began his role as a PhD Fellow at Kristiania University College, where he researches the role of conscience in business innovation, with a particular focus on the energy transition. His experiences across the food, housing, and energy sectors have given him an appreciation for a systemic, transdisciplinary approach in meeting the challenges ahead
