FAQ Accordation Block
- We distinguish between building opening hours and staffed opening hours. The fact that we are staffed means that there is someone at the counter during that period. Our opening hours may vary during holiday periods.
- Employees and students at Kristiania are automatically registered with the library. If you are a student or employee at Kristiania and lack access to library services, contact us.
- You can access the reading list in Leganto via your course in Canvas by clicking on "Pensum". Please note that it may take a few days before you can access the reading list as a new student. In such cases, the following error message will be displayed: "Unknown user: username@feide.egms.no".
If the problem persists for more than a few days, contact the library for help.
- There is a printer on the 2nd floor of Kongens gate 22, which is available for all students and staff to use. Use Uniflow to print. You can see more on IT's website.
- There is seating for reading and working in all our libraries. On the 4th floor of Kongens gate 22 there is a reading room that is a quiet zone. These seats cannot be reserved. If you wish to reserve a seat, you must book a group room.
- You can use our self-check machines to both borrow and return books. Choose on the screen whether you want to borrow or return, and you will be instructed on how to proceed. Remember to ask for a receipt by e-mail when given the choice.
- If you are logged in to Oria, with your FEIDE login, you will find an overview of your loans, requests and due dates for return by clicking on your name in the right corner.
- We can interlibrary loan books and articles that we do not have in our collection. You can send us a request via Oria or contact us by email. You can find material we do not have in Oria by selecting "Norwegian academic libraries" in the search field before searching
- You can find a selection of bachelor's and master's theses under "Search, write and cite" and "Academic writing".
