Password
PS! For forgotten passwords, you must have access to a mobile phone in order to receive a one-time code. If you need to change your listed phone number, follow these instructions.
Common errors
- In Feide, you only have to write your username. Do not include “@egms.no”.
Instructions – forgotten password
- Go to the user administration page.
- Enter your username.
- If you do not remember your username, please contact the Service Centre.
- You will receive a one-time code by text message. Enter it in the text field and proceed.
- If you receive an error message or did not receive the text message: Log in to Studentweb with your national identification number and PIN code and make sure you have registered the correct phone number.
- Once you have changed your phone number, you can use the forgot password service again.
- If your phone number is already correct, contact the Service Centre.
- Enter your new password twice. Make sure you follow the password requirements on the page.
- If the new password is not approved, check that it meets all the requirements. If it is still not approved, contact the Service Centre.
Instructions – change password
- Go to the user administration page.
- Enter your user login and password
- If your password does not work, first try the forgot password service on the page.
- If you do not remember your username, please contact the Service Centre.
- Select “Change password” in the menu.
- Enter your current password and then a new password twice.
- Remember to follow all the password requirements listed at the top of the page.
- Click “Change password”.
- If you receive an error message, first check that you have actually followed all the requirements. Then try to re-enter the new password in case you made a mistake. If you still receive an error message, please contact the Service Centre.
