Common errors

  • In Feide, you only have to write your username. Do not include “@egms.no”. 

Instructions – forgotten password

  1. Go to the user administration page.
  2. Enter your username.
  1. If you do not remember your username, please contact the Service Centre.
  1. You will receive a one-time code by text message. Enter it in the text field and proceed.
  2. Enter your new password twice. Make sure you follow the password requirements on the page.
  3. If the new password is not approved, check that it meets all the requirements. If it is still not approved, contact the Service Centre.

Instructions – change password

  1. Go to the user administration page.
  2. Enter your user login and password
  3. Select “Change password” in the menu.
  4. Enter your current password and then a new password twice.
    • Remember to follow all the password requirements listed at the top of the page.
  5. Click “Change password”.
    • If you receive an error message, first check that you have actually followed all the requirements. Then try to re-enter the new password in case you made a mistake. If you still receive an error message, please contact the Service Centre.
