Overview
- Semester Registration for campus students
All students at Kristiania University College must complete the semester registration process in Studentweb every semester. The deadline for semester registration/educational plan approval is:
- For the autumn semester: September 15th
- For the spring semester: February 15th
Exam Registration for Online Students at Kristiania University College
- Bachelor's courses: April 1st and November 1st
- Master's programs: Major diets: September 1st and March 1st / Minor diets: February 1st and July 20th
The withdrawal deadline is the same as the registration deadline.
Exemption from Courses
The deadline for applying for course exemptions is:
- For the autumn semester: August 15th - September 15th
- For the spring semester: January 1st - February 15th

Termination of study enrollment
All terminations are carried out in accordance with the contract and/or study conditions.
- For students in our campus programs, the study placement must be terminated by January 15th (for the spring semester) and September 1st (for the autumn semester). Failure to terminate on time will result in full payment of the upcoming semester's fee. If this is your first semester, termination must be sent to opptak@kristiania.no. If you are a current student, the termination must be sent to Studentservice (log in with feide).
- For those who have enrolled in online courses at Kristiania University College, a 14-day right of withdrawal applies from the time of enrollment or a 14-day notice period after the specified start date, in accordance with the study conditions. Withdrawal notices must be sent to opptak@kristiania.no. In case of late termination, the tuition fee must be paid in full.
- If you interrupt your studies, you must inform the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund (Lånekassen) yourself.
- Please refer to the contractual provisions you accepted when you signed the contract with Kristiania University College.
Application for Adapted Examinations for Campus Students
- By September 15th for autumn exams
- By February 15th for spring exams
- In case of an acute need, the application must be submitted promptly after the need for special arrangements arises and documentation is available.
Application for Adapted Examinations for Online Students at the University College
- By November 1st for autumn exams
- By April 1st for spring exams
Registration for Deferred and Supplementary Exams
- For autumn courses: By February 1st
- For spring courses: By July 10th
- For bachelor's and master's theses: By October 1st
- Online students at the university college do not have separate supplementary exams but follow the applicable examination schedule.
Form for Submitting Medical Certificates
- The deadline for submitting a medical certificate to the school is within 7 days after the exam or submission date. A medical certificate or other documentation is mandatory.
- If you become ill between the distribution and submission of a take-home exam, you must submit a medical certificate and "application for extended submission deadline for home exams" before the submission deadline. The medical certificate must include information about the number of days you have been ill.
