Kristiania University of Applied Sciences – Our New English Name

Kristiania University College is now Kristiania University of Applied Sciences, reflecting our commitment to practical and professional education.

Kristiania conducts research and award degrees in all the three study levels. Our profile is closely aligned with the professional world, and practical experience is broadly integrated into our educational programmes as well as in research. Kristiania offers two Ph.D. programmes in Communication and Leadership, and in Applied Information Technology as well as bachelor and master programmes in several subject areas. Our faculties are the School of Arts, Design and Media; the School of Communication, Leadership and Marketing; the School of Economics, Innovation, and Techology, School of Health Sciences; and a School of Doctoral Studies.  

The official Norwegian name remains Høyskolen Kristiania – Ernst G. Mortensen’s Foundation.
