Research infrastructure and data storage
Researchers, other employees and students at Kristiania University College and Kristiania Professional College have access to the “Nettskjema” questionnaire tool for the collection of data in connection with e.g. research projects, teaching or assignments.
The Project Manager must ensure that research data is stored securely, and preferably in a manner whereby the data is openly available to everyone. At the same time, the Project Manager must also ensure that data and information are adequately protected against public access in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and agreements.
Research data must be stored using solutions that have been made available by Kristiania University College so that secure data storage and security backups are taken care of.
Research data that contains personal data must not be stored on personal storage devices. Read more about data protection here.
Regarding the HPC-platform
The High-Performance Computing (HPC) platform, hosted locally at Kristiania University College, provides computing resources for students and researchers to conduct complex experiments in science, engineering, and mathematics. The Kristiania-HPC environments offer significant computational power for scientific and data-intensive tasks. The [HPC site](https://kristiania-hpc.github.io/) will guide you through the basics of getting started with Kristiania-HPC.
