Background
The economics research group at Kristiania engages in applied empirical and theoretical analysis aimed at addressing practical economic issues. The research spans critical areas such as income inequality and social/political conflict, energy economics, consumer behavior, productivity and innovation in public policy.
The aim of the research activities is to promote informed policy decision-making, better business strategies, and effective public policy solutions. They also emphasize collaboration between researchers and students through research-based education, enhancing both academic knowledge and practical applications in economics.
The group's members regularly publish in international academic journals and contribute to the dissemination of knowledge. Additionally, the research group is dedicated to popularizing their findings by making economic research accessible to a broader audience, ensuring that their work informs public discourse and contributes to a deeper understanding of economic trends and policies.
