Kristiania University College and the national Queer Research Group is pleased to announce upcoming Queer Symposium. We would like to bring together experts to present and discuss queer research and challenges today.
Participants will first be presented the main findings from a national study of the working conditions for queer students and staff in Norwegian academia, followed by an invitation to participate in a short workshop discussing the findings.
In the afternoon, we aim to present examples of planned, ongoing or completed research focused on any research including queer people and the diverse spectrum of gender and sexuality. This event aims to foster dialogue and share knowledge among students and scholars about the experiences, challenges, and contributions of individuals within the LGBTQ+ community, including but not limited to lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender individuals, and non-binary people.
