Working conditions for LGBTQ+ people - survey
A research-based study on working conditions for LGBTQ+ people in norwegian academia.
Survey
About this research project
In Norway, we lack systematic research-based knowledge about working conditions among researchers, students, and employees who identify as LGBTQ+ at higher education and research institutions.
A pilot study from 2022 and Statistics Norway findings from 2023 show that LGBTQ+ people experience: lower quality of life compared to heterosexual people, challenges related to minority stress, and discrimination in their daily work and study environment.
With this survey, we aim to collect experiences from LGBTQ+ students, researchers, and employees in Norwegian academia to map real challenges with diversity and working conditions, and develop concrete proposals for measures and improvements.
Important information about privacy:
- The survey is completely anonymous
- The research is approved by SIKT
- We will never publish data that could identify individuals
