What will you learn?
Throughout this course you will learn about the main branches of the Nordics and global music industries and how each of these branches are interconnected.
Theoretical teaching is combined with “up-to-the-minute” practical assignments, as well as the operation of student-run independent record labels.
During your study time, we will focus on topics that include:

- Promotion, Public Relations & Marketing
- Tour planning & bespoke events

Our lecturers
Music Business has been a staple of Kristiania’s suite of programmes since 2019. The core teaching staff for the programme have almost 35 years combined experience in the domestic and international music industry, at the highest levels. They have worked and continue to work with some of the global music industry’s biggest record labels, music publishers and indeed artists. Students on the course enjoy the fruits of this expansive experience, on a day-to-day basis, in lectures, workshops and clinics. Students also have the unique experience of working with Ingrooves/Universal, one of the largest distributors for some of the finest record labels and artists. The opportunities for expanding your network are many and varied. Guest lecturers and mentors from the music industry are a regular and common element of the course, throughout your time with us. If the music industry is where you want to be, this is the only answer!
I have over 20-years of experience as an artist manager in the international music industry. In my career I have worked with some of the industry's biggest names and have built a global network.
