grasps the concept of acoustics and how speech and song are influenced by the condition of the room and other aspects.
can identify the characteristics and developmental aspects of different genres in musical theatre and its main disciplines, and make choices that either adhere to or break with this tradition.

Skills

is able to use acquired tools to help switch seamlessly between performing through song, dance and acting.
is able to adjust and use professional terms from the main disciplines to strengthen performance within a particular skill area.
can use text analysis as a basis for artistic and performance related choices
is able to apply their own knowledge and that of others, and use a concept or overall idea as a starting point for their own performance.

General competence

can, at a basic level, produce a result that can be shown to an audience, either alone or in groups, and in line with relevant professional and ethical issues, including issues related to intellectual property regulations.
can, at a basic level, plan and execute various projects ahead of time, either alone or as a part of a group, and reflect on his/her own work.
can, at a basic level, convey professional issues both in writing, orally and through artistic creation and processes. He/she can exchange views and experiences with other members of the professional field, thereby contributing to the development of good practices in the musical theatre field.
is aware of creative developments and innovation processes in musical theatre, especially with regard to the dissemination of, and the relationship between, the three main disciplines.
