The course places great demands on the student's preparation, and on his/her academic independence. It is not recommended that students in the first year of study apply for such practice.

Please note that the following limits and obligations apply:

The timetable and deadlines for applying for assignment-based practice are given by the university college in advance of the period.

The practice will take place during the elective period

Practice cannot take place in the business the student is employed in/already has practice in, or is co-owner of.

The academic relevance, dividend and other content of the practice must be 100% approved by the program manager at the program the student has his/her studies before a contract can be signed. This means that the problem/purpose of the practice must be clearly defined, relevant teaching materials/ "curriculum" agreed and requirements for final delivery for assessment determined.

The contract must be completed in a standard form provided by the school.

The contract must have two attachments: 1) Description of approved academic problem, teaching materials and content and form of delivery for the final product 2) Description of the tasks the student must perform at the client.

The student is required to:

know the content of the subject description and know which deadlines apply.
find a place of practice, prepare a professional problem that is presented to the technical department for guidance and approval.
be an organizer and proponent and is 100% responsible for the final agreement between the place of practice, the student and the Kristiania University college by the 20. November.
Make sure that the contract is signed by everyone within the deadlinem
be very operable, independent and suitable for the task.
If a student fails to fulfill his or her part of the contract, fails to attend practice or fails to deliver the final product within the stipulated deadline, the same rules apply as in the ordinary examination. Undocumented absence or failure to deliver will result in a "not met" assessment and the student must take up these credits on another occasion. In case of documented illness, arrangements and postponements are agreed as normal.
