Kristiania Talks: Humor Special. A conversation with Mahmud Farjami

This year's last edition of Kai Hanno Schwind's talks on humor is a special edition, with Mahmud Farjami as guest. Mahmud is an Iranian comedian, writer, and journalist, and his main interests are stand-up comedy and socio-political satire.

In this special edition of the humor-talks, Kristiania’s own humor-researcher Kai Hanno Schwind will talk with visiting assistant professor and fellow humor researcher Mahmud Farjami about politics, religion and other taboos in humor. Besides researching and writing on topics such as Iranian Political Satirists (2017), Mahmud is working as a successful stand-up comedian performing in Persian around the world. Visit his official website here.

The talk will take place on December 5th at 12h30, in the library at campus Fjerdingen (Chr. Krohgs gate 32).

Admission: free.
