Rob Froud is Professor of Helath Sciences, in the deparment of osteopathy. Rob teaches and does research at the institution. His research interests are predominantly related to back pain, the measurement of health outcomes (clinimetrics), and health services research methodlogy. He has also worked on adverse events in osteopathy.
Rob originally trained as an osteopath, at the European School of Osteopathy, before going on to read medical statistics at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and doing a PhD in epidemiology/health services research at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry. Rob also works part-time at Warwick Medical School, University of Warwick, in the UK.
