I. STUDENT
You will begin with filling in your personal information. In “Field of Education”, fill in your field at Kristiania. You will see suggestions as you start to write. Choose the field closest to your own.
II. THE SENDING INSTITUTION
Høyskolen Kristiania is automatically entered as a home university. You should then fill in your applicable School, Department as well as the contact person’s details (name, mail, and phone).
This is normally the head of your study programme at Kristiania.III. THE RECEIVING INSTITUTION
You must fill in the name of your host university (Erasmus code, PIC code, address, country, country code will be entered automatically) and enter the corresponding faculty and institute. Fill in the contact person at your host university. This can be either the head of the study programme at the receiving institution, or the International Office there. If you do not know the name and the corresponding contact information, you can usually find this online -- otherwise, you can always contact your host university.
IV. PROPOSED MOBILITY PROGRAMME (BEFORE THE MOBILITY)
IV.1. Table A: Study programme abroad
- Before beginning Table A, you must find the course catalog on the website of the university you are going to and gather information concerning the courses you would like to take. If your host university does not provide an updated course catalogue for the upcoming semester, you can usually use last year's course catalogue. If you do not find the courses on the website, and have not had the courses sent to you in a previous email, you must contact the host university directly to ask.
- Please keep in mind that you must register for at least 30 "studiepoeng" (1 "studiepoeng" = 1 ECTS) in total for full-semester mobilities. For short-term mobilities the total will be lower.
- First, you must select the box “Add subject”, then you must select the box “edit”: Here, you must use the host university's course information to enter the course code / name, semester and number of ECTS / credits. If there is no code on the course, you can leave it blank. Repeat the steps for each course you are planning to take.
- Thereafter, you can enter the website of the university's course catalogue, if it exists, by clicking edit under the table that lists your courses. If there is no comprehensive course catalog, you can link to course descriptions for each course.
IV.2. Table B: Study Programme at Sending Institution- In this table, you enter the courses at Kristiania for which the courses taken abroad are to be approved. You can also fill in 30 free credits, which can be entered as "Mobility window" and 30 ECTS. Link to a website for the description of the courses, if possible.
IV.3. Planned period of the mobility- Please fill in the start and end month/year of your intended semester/year abroad. You can often find this in the "academic calendar" or "semester dates" part of the website of the host institution. Alternatively, you can write to the host institution to ask.
IV.4. Language competence- Please fill in the main teaching language of the courses you will take at your host university, and the language level that you expect to have when the exchange semester starts. To assess your current language level, you can use either the “Common European Framework of Reference for Languages” or the EU Academy for language courses and placement tests.
V. RESPONSIBLE PERSONSV.1. Responsible person, sending institution:
Please fill in the contact details (name, function, phone number and e-mail) of the responsible persons at Høyskolen Kristiania, usually the head of your study programme.
V.2. Responsible person, receiving institution:
This can be either the head of the study programme at the receiving institution, or the International Office there. If you do not know the name and the corresponding contact information, you can usually find this online.
VI. COMMITMENT
When everything is completed, the Learning Agreement must be signed by you and sent to the coordinator at Kristiania (Home Institutional Coordinator). Please keep in mind that you will no longer be able to make changes to the document after you sign and submit it to the Home Institutional Coordinator. You can log in and check the status of your OLA-process at any time. You will automatically be notified when the document is approved by Kristiania and sent to the host university as well as once the host university has approved it.
- If you need to make changes to your Online Learning Agreement during your mobility, you must press the button called “Add Component Final Table A2”. This is because it is not possible to make changes to your Learning Agreement after it is submitted and signed.
You must delete any subjects you do not want to or cannot take, and enter your new subjects in the same way as when you created the original OLA.
Once you have deleted / entered the course details, you sign and submit the adjusted OLA to the coordinator at Kristiania (Home Institutional Coordinator) in the same way as in the first round. Once again, you will be notified when the document is approved by Kristiania and sent to the host university as well as once the host university has approved it.
