WIL25
Shaping the future landscape of WIL
Work-integrated learning (WIL) is traditionally seen as an educational and pedagogical approach that involves three key players: the student, the workplace and the educational institution. To shape the future landscape of WIL there is a need for a multidimensional perspective that can highlight and discuss conditions, challenges and solutions of knowledge and learning in and for a future working life. WIL therefore needs to be explored as a transdisciplinary research field that focuses on work-life relations and learning. This raises questions about how work-integrated learning can be developed more broadly, including processes of change linked to knowledge, competence, and skills.
The conference will offer an atmosphere for co-creating the future generation of WIL research and practice.
