Background

The group and its collaborators are focused on improving knowledge on persistent pain (musculoskeletal pain in particular) and innovating new methods to improve research design, outcome measurement, analysis, and the reporting of findings.

Established in 2012, the group has several highly-cited works and aims to continue to have meaningful international impact.

Research projects

The ReISE study examines the relationship between chronic pain, being outside the workforce, and how this affects quality of life. Gaining more knowledge about the impact of being out of work with pain will provide us with insights to develop methods and ways to help.

Robert James Froud

Rob Froud is a Professor (Health Sciences) at Kristiania University College. Rob does research into chronic pain (low back pain especially), work and health. Froud is head of this group.
