About the project

Project Overview

This collaborative project between Kristiania University College, Mental Health, University of Konstanz, and NAV aims to equip Ukrainian healthcare professionals in Norway with specialized training in Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET). Participants will gain skills to provide trauma therapy to Ukrainian refugees while contributing to important research on mental health impacts of war and displacement.

Training Schedule

  • 12 online lectures via Zoom
  • 5 group sessions and supervisions
  • January 6th, 2025 - July 6th, 2025
  • Mandatory attendance for all activities

Key requirements to participate

  • Healthcare professional background
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Have the ability to speak English in order to follow the course and supervisions. The activities of the supervised praxis may be conducted in Ukranian or Russian.
  •  Living in Norway
