Gabriel Balaban er førsteamanuensis i informatikk ved Høyskolen Kristiania og underviser i programvareteknikk, UX-design og datavitenskap. Han har en doktorgrad i informatikk og en MSc i matematikk fra Universitetet i Oslo, og en bachelorgrad i matematikk fra Trent University Canada. Hans forskningsinteresser inkluderer medisinsk bildeanalyse, biofysisk modellering og maskinlæring, spesielt innen hjertehelsetjenester.
